I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
