The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to players forming firm views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how others are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict disasters in advance? That exudes the identical vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are.
