Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign
The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to players forming firm views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.
With many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Much like a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past official descriptions note their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Observe this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an endless fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Twins.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a intense symbol known for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.
The Scales – Mega Audino
Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how others are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict disasters in advance? That exudes the identical vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
